Okay, so one of the key things to look at in earning for Adsense in your blog is the price of your keywords.
In May of 2007, the most priced keyword was mesothelioma claims, or asbestos claims, reaching up to $75.30 for one click!

So what's mesothelioma all about? It's basically about cancer caused by asbestos. It was priced so high because you could sue some companies for it, and have your claims. Click one of those sites on the Google Ads on this page to find more about it.
Right now, I'm not yet so sure if it's still priced this high, but I'm hoping to find out once someone decides to click on one of my ads.
Other keywords that have high price per click, and that would let you earn more, are about money, sex, insurance, free credit, and shopping. It might be a great idea to start a blog about these topics, and promoting the blog. It may take awhile to get good results though, as you'll have lots of competition for traffic.
